Filipino Comedian Pooh has new character now as Brillantes - (derived from the controversial Senator Antonio Trillanes). Pooh became famous when he spoof the boxing champion Manny Pacquiao as Manny Pokyaw in Wowowee. Because of this success he was awarded already as aliw best stand-up comedian for two years in a row and had 3 tv shows in ABS-CBN.

Joaquin Bordado first team-up of Robin Padilla and Iza Calzado

Joaquin Bordado new telefantasya of GMA 7 based on a comic story of Director Carlo J. Caparas. Joaquin Bordado is a man with tattoos all over his body where he get his powers. This primetime tv series is starred by Robin Padilla with leading lady Iza Calzado as his wife. On the first taping, they already had a kissing scene and maybe will a love scene too in the following episodes. In the series Robin is tattooed (artificial) for almost 4 hours in every taping.

MMFF best actress contenders

Best Actress contenders for Metro Manila Film Festival are Maricel Soriano for "Bahay Kubo", Judy Ann Santos for "Sakal Sakali Saklolo", Lorna Tolentino for "Katas ng Saudi", Ruffa Gutierrez for "Desperadas". The MMFF parade of Stars will be held only in Manila from Mall of Asia using the Roxas Boulevard and end in Luneta Grandstand on December 24 while the MMFF Awards Night will be held in SM Convention Center on January 5, 2008.
